One of my favorite things to serve at a spring or summer party is a fresh fruit tray. I love fresh berries, pineapple, apple slices, melon, and whatever other in season fruit I can find.
I have a recipe for an easy fruit dip that combines cream cheese and marshmallow cream. It’s a simple, sweet, and creamy dip that works perfect with most fruits.
I don’t like the flavor of some of the pre packaged fruit dips at the store, so I have an easy recipe to make my own.
Cream Cheese Fruit Dip
- 1~ 8oz package of cream cheese
- 1~ 7 oz (small) jar of marshmallow cream
- 1-2 tablespoons of lemon (0ptional)
Let the cream cheese sit for a few minutes until it’s almost room temperature, then cream the marshmallow cream, cream cheese, and the lemon together with a hand mixer.
You can refrigerate the dip for later, or use it right away. The dip will keep for up to a week in the refrigerator if you use fresh ingredients.
This dip is also perfect to encourage your kids to eat more fresh fruit. Give them a little sweet with their healthy:-)
