The Maiden’s Blush
The Maiden’s Blush appeared in Bariana, the first French cocktail manual by Louis Fouquet, in 1896. This variation uses fresh raspberries instead of grenadine.

- 1 part PLYMOUTH ® Gin
- ⅓ part simple syrup
- ⅓ part fresh lemon juice
- ⅓ part water
- 4 raspberries
- Lemon wheel
Muddle raspberries in a mixing glass. Add remaining ingredients, and shake over ice. Strain into a small chilled rocks glass, and garnish with a lemon wheel.
Esprit de June: A delicate liqueur crafted from the vine flowers from the vineyards of Cognac, June’s feminine and floral flavor profile make it an ideal romantic cocktail ingredient for a Valentine’s cocktail – simply splash it in with Champagne and its makes for a very special Champagne cocktail!
ZU Vodka: Now available in the US, this bison grass flavored spirit was the spirit of choice for Polish royalty as they spent time hunting in the enchanted Bialowieza Forest. The classic way to drink ZU is simple – mixed half and half with apple juice. This drink is commonly called a “Polish Kiss”, and the name makes it perfect for the holiday.
